That’s how long it takes to just design a Sim. Much less their house. Or even a family. It’s hours before you actually start “playing.”

Note to self:

When get home and have money, buy big kid watercolors. The kinds that have more pigment and are, therefore, more vibrant.

You love us!

Yeah, yeah. But If you hadn’t posted those pictures, I could have probably gone until July without thinking, “Gee, you know what would be tasty? A burger!”

Thanks, guys.

Ground Beef, buns, and sweet potato have all been added to my grocery list. :|

You know that moment when you’re reading a book and you just have to stop and bite your lip and squeal or sigh or close your eyes and wrinkle your nose and forehead and press the book against your heart and just like sit there and try to soak up the gorgeous literature via osmosis?

That’s my favorite part of reading.

A trip to return the library books I’ve been holding hostage for three months

just took me an hour and forty-five minutes. It should have taken no more than twenty.

First, I ran into one of the PhD students from the lab, and she wanted me to show her how to work a program next week. That’s cool. 5 minutes.

Next, I run into my flatmate that’s been gone for two weeks, and she wanted to talk about her vacation. In the underpass. For an hour. She’s cool and all, but one of those people you can’t get away from.

Finally, I run into the PhD student that I’m primarily working with, and we talk for another 10 minutes about life, the universe, and everything.

So, yay, human interaction, but four hard-back text-books are heavy. In case you’ve ever wondered.
